CREATING ILLUSTRATED POTTERY:
HAND-PAINTED MUG AND TEAPOT ILLUSTRATION PROCESS
STEP 1: INSPIRED BY MOOMIN TROLLS
This portfolio section showcases my enthusiasm for ceramic illustration, specifically focusing on creating unique designs on a teapot and glassware. Inspired by the Moomin troll style, I endeavored to craft original illustrations, blending this influence with my adoration for rabbits rather than simply imitating the style. The outcome is a unique fusion of Moomin troll elements harmoniously integrated with my personal interpretation of rabbit imagery in these original illustrations.

STEP 2: MAKE A MUG
After finalizing the sketching phase, I proceeded to craft the mug featuring my illustrations. This stage involved selecting an appropriate ceramic base, developing a color palette, and transferring my sketches onto the mug's surface. All of this work was accomplished with the assistance of diatehnon, and I am sincerely thankful to them for their support and the opportunity to bring my creativity to life.

STEP 3: A DETAILED PROCESS OF ILLUSTRATION, PROTECTION, AND REFINEMENT
The mug creation process encompasses several key steps. Firstly, a clear protective coat is carefully applied to the mug's interior, ensuring the longevity and preservation of the artwork. Next, the exterior illustration undergoes meticulous painting in multiple layers to achieve vibrant colors and intricate details, bringing the design to life. After the paint fully dries, a precise refinement phase commences, focusing on the contours and fine details of the illustration. This meticulous stage involves careful adjustments using specialized tools to enhance the clarity and overall finish of the artwork, resulting in a beautifully crafted and finalized mug.
